The ski resort Gudauri will meet the upcoming 2018/2019 season with one reconstructed and three brand new ski lifts.
The Mountain Resorts Development Company subordinated to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia has signed an agreement regarding cooperation with the Doppelmayr - the world's leading manufacturer of ropeways, cable cars and ski lifts. The agreement envisages dismantling the ski lifts Pirveli and Soliko at the Gudauri ski resort and replacing it with new ones. Also reconstruction of Kudebi ski lift and construction of a brand new ski lift is planned.
The ski lift Pirveli will be 6-person chairlift. Soliko and Kudebi lift system with six pack bubble chairlifts will provide protection on cold days. Pirveli and Soliko ropeways will have transport capacity of up to 2,800 people per, new Kudebi- 2200 passengers per hour.
